This is really incredible! You must try this. This is one of the tests where I tell you what you’re thinking of. Let’s give it a try!
Answer the questions one at a time, as quickly as you can:
1. Carefully pick a number from 1 to 10.
2. Multiply that by 9.
3. If the number is a 2-digit number, then add both digits together.
4. Now subtract 5 from it.
5. Find out which letter in the alphabet corresponds to your number. (For example 2=”b”)
(1=”a”, 2=”b”, 3=”c”, 4=”d”, 5=”e”, 6=”f”, 7=”g”, 8=”h”, 9=”i”, 10=”j”)
6. Now think of any country that starts with that letter. (For example b=Brazil)
7. Remember the last letter of the name of that country. (For example: “L” as in Brazil)
8. Now think of an animal that starts with it. (For example: L=Leopard)
9. Remember the last letter of the name of that animal. (For example: “D” as in Leopard)
10. Now think of a fruit that starts with that last letter.
Revise your answer to make sure you’ve not messed up anywhere.
ANSWER:
Thinking of an Orange!
If you didn’t think of an orange, then you lie among the 20% of the people who thought of an Apple!
Explanation Of The Trick:
When you subtract 5, you’ll always end up with the answer 4. The 4th letter of the alphabet is ‘d’ and the most likely country that you’d think of is Denmark. Last letter is ‘K’. So you got to choose between Kangaroo and Koala and hence the most common fruit as orange or apple! And believe it or not, 9 out of 10 people will think and come up with this same answer

Nice. I like these and this one is a good one. I think a lot of people catch on though that any 1 digit times 9 will equal 9 when you add them together. Come up with a better way to get to 5 and you’ll have a real winner.thanks for the 2 (now 4) minutes of entertaining me. I’ll check out the rest of your blog.

Yep. Those are the two exceptions, but like I said, 9 out of 10 ppl would promptly think about Denmark…LOL

What came to my mind was Kiwi .. wondering where do I fit with that one

i got denmark alright
but my animal was the kiwi, you know that little bird, and i figured out that everybody would get 4, when it asked me to add the digits.
the only problem with kiwi is that i dont know any fruits that start with an I

Yes, everyone is unique, just like everyone else. I suppose I am one of those 0.1 percent that got something completely different… whereof another three or so seems to have posted above. I mean, you can think of Kakapo’s, Kangaroos, Kestrels, Killdeer, Killer Whales, Killifish, King Penguins, Kingfishers, Kiwis, Koalas, Koi, Komodo Dragons or Krill… and that is just of the top of my head. So you can have fruits starting with O, L, R, E, H, N, I, or A. So, just going through the common fruits would be Oranges, Lemon, Lime, Raisin, Raspberry, Eggplant, Honeydew Melon, Nectarine, and Avocados, Apples and Apricots… and probably more depending on country of origin. I can’t remember any fruits on I though, so those that picks Kiwis like those above me, or Koi like me, are a bit stuck.
On a more serious note… this mind trick is really really old. As in so old that Koi and Kiwis was unheard of outside of their originating countries. You really can not say 80/20 get the orange apple answer any more, since these days it is probably closer to 60/15, while the remaining 25% are wondering what everyone is on about.

Started with 5.44444×9 = 49 (my fav number) add together you get 15, subract 5, 10. That gave me J. Japan. Nightingale, Eggplant.

LOL, you got me. I as thinking apple. I also had Denmark but was thinking of Kobra. LOL, anyway, good quiz and 1 minute of fun too.
Meh. I’m one of the 1% (me) who got Rockmelon as an answer. I got 5, then denmark, then a Kingfisher, then a rockmelon.
My thought was of a Tangerine.
