Do you love wearing animal furs? I used to, but now I no longer love it anymore; I HATE IT! And I will give a reasonable reason for you to hate it too.
I really felt very bad as I watched this shocking video of a Chinese fur farm where the animals were actually skinned alive for the furs! I felt as if my heart was completely ripped off as my brother showed me this shocking video. At first, I felt so helpless looking at the animal cruelty, but later thought I should also do something, hence am writing about this to let all my readers know about it. If you love furs, you must know from where and at what cost all these furs come from.
This is a very disturbing video in which animals are actually peeled alive, where the animals are still alive, struggling desperately and writhing, as the workers flip them on their back or hang them up by their legs to skin them.
Before they are skinned alive, animals are pulled from their cages, thrown to the ground, hit with metal rods, causing broken bones and injuries but not death yet.
After the fur is finally peeled off over the animal’s head, their bloody bodies are thrown into a pile, where some are still alive with ragged gasps, blinking slowly, only to die a horrible, painful death.
I couldn’t watch more of this video as I deeply felt very very bad. I would strongly advise viewer’s discretion if you would like to watch this video.
The following video is a disturbing and shocking video of animal cruelty just for the sake of animal furs.
Viewer’s Discretion Advised.
I couldn’t watch the whole video as I felt it really ripped my heart apart. I felt so bad as I helplessly watched such animal cruelty. No animal deserve such cruelty…how can someone kill something as beautiful as those creatures. I really felt so helpless as I could clearly see pain in their eyes, begging for mercy. This is so terrible and sick!
If you ask me if we can do something about it, yes we can do!
Whether you know or not, China exports more than half of the finished fur garments for sale in the United States and if we can say NO to furs, with such boycotting, I think we together can reduce their sufferings.
If you feel this shocking animal cruelty really touched your heart, help me spread the word. Spread this video. Spread this message.
I swear I’m never gonna buy any fur products, and if you think the same too, help me spread the word of this barbaric cruelty! If you are a blogger, blogging about this animal cruelty to let all your readers know will be the least thing you can do to ease their pain and sufferings. Bookmark This, Socialmark This, Share This, Blog This…let us initiate an attempt to create more public awareness as it is us who are to blame for such animal cruelty if we still continue to buy those furs.

THIS IS INSANE!!!
i hate its happen. But we need to take care about animals.
Hi!
Since I am an animal lover, a blog “Therapy Home” was created. To compliment my story I sometimes posted YouTube videos. To my surprise I found there were, also other videos attached, and there was this particular video showing other animals being abused very badly similar to the video you attached I think. I rather not click and see it, I dare not, otherwise, I will cry and will feel bad for quite a whille! I really do not understand, we are now leaving in 21st century and yet some insane cruel people are still behaving like cavemen and uncivilized!!! I pray that the body for animal protection join hand do something about it fast! I hope those people be caught and punished and selling animall fur should be banned since it involved cruelty! Again people should be taught and exposed with news to make them realize that if they stop buying fur then those insane cruel uncivilized idiots only will stop!
this is really horrible. and sad. i guess they dont kill before skinning because it’s easier to skin that way? this kind of thing is going to continue to happen, because the demand for fur is there. we need to say No to fur!
Animal cruelty like this not only happens in China, but also in some other country like Canada who hunts seals for their fur. Good article! Stumbled and reviewed!
I couldn’t bring myself to even think about watching it. Sadly, it’s just nearly just as bad to run a “puppy mill” or train pit bulls. Animals attack out of instinct, we attack just because we can.
I believe in karma. So many sufferings and painful death will bring them the same kind of karma. But I am not mad at the workers who skinned those animals; I’m mad at those who are so comfortable wearing the fur even when they know that it costed such barbaric animal cruelty - I’m mad at those who’re making business from it and establishing fur farms over fur farms all across the globe - I’m mad at us who are just silently watching the drama, saying “this shouldn’t be done…I felt bad” but only mere saying it and no action at all!
We can’t stop this by protests, I know; it has been done quite a lot of times, but we can at least create a huge public awareness to say “NO” to furs, such that ultimately people start boycotting it completely. As soon as this happens, with the huge decrease in demand, there won’t be any further supply and hence no such cruelty!
I even couldn’t watch such pain in those innocent animals.
Skin those ****ing bastards and they’ll know how painful skinning is. I pray to God to give all those involved a merciless, painful death such that they realize the cruelty they showed their whole living peeling off animals. May they go to hell!!!!
Why skinning alive? Why make them suffer? Why such animal cruelty? Why can’t they just kill them with drugs first and then later take out the fur?
my god! i thought few years back whe i read from archie’s digest that it was only a joke<! now that i see in video i believed them. oh my god, such cruelty to poor creatures.
My gosh… Animal cruelty is horrible thing and unfortunately it does happen all over the world but China seems to be having more and more problems now that it’s all about the dollar or euro as it were. Education is key… thanks for the post. The video is hard to watch but it’s good to know it’s out there.

After watching the cruel act that these poor creatures are being peeled off their skin and furcoats while still alive and pleading for mercy from the hands of their killers, I think it will be worthawhile that the human race must be made aware by special programmes and lessons in schools and colleges about buoycotting the Fur & Animal Skin goods and products. Many species like the big cats (tigers, leopeards, cheetas etc.),lions, birds, elephants etc. are being mercilessly killed by illegl hunders in India, Brazil, Africa and other parts of the world and they are facing extinction just for the sake of huge market demand and high prices offered by some of the human society. This video is a sample of many similar and still unrecorded cruelties being committed against harmless creatures everywhere. We all know these animals are created for pleasing the human eyes and senses by the Creator. Animals, birds and other creatures have right to live peacefully in this planet like us. We shall preseve these beautiful creatures for our future generations to see and enjoy the beauty of them.
Yes Gladstone. If such special programs are initiated we can ensure that our future generations will see and enjoy these beauties. But who would initiate such programs as each and every such words go deaf in the Govt’s ear and we’re living in a world where everybody just thinks about gains.
This is incredibly sick. I cannot believe what I have seen on this video. The people doing this must either be really poor or just plain sadistic. I couldn’t watch it all, if made me feel sick, which is suprising as normally I have a really strong stomach for anything ’sick’. Poor f*cking creatures. Unless these people could give me a decent excuse (like their families will starve to death unless they do this) then I would quite happily shoot them in the head…
I’m with you mat. I have never seen anything more horrible. I was sweating so bad I had to take my shirt off.
It makes me very, very angry, and at the time of watching I did think about using my .45 on those bastards.
Isn’t this the same “wonderful” country we just had the olympics at?
What a bunch of crap.
Simple. Boycott anything made in China, not just fur. Everything is made there and if each consumer just spent a little time reading the labels, we can make a strong impact. Obviously China is a money driven society and does not care about anything but the almighty dollar. Ask yourselves, would you purchase a shirt made by a 10 year old who is beaten into slave labor? I don’t think so. This is the same thing. China and the people of China should all be ashamed to witness such brutality and sit back. In the US, you can’t round up stray animals and skin them alive, bludgeon them, beat them and let them bleed to death. One would be in big trouble. Our country does not condone this behavior and our citizens would not stand for it. China is an old civilization and barbarism in this day and age has no place. Perhaps the toxic pollution is a punishment to the very people in this country.
I only watch the first 10 second, this is absolutely heartless thing I’ve ever see in my entire live.
May they burn in hell forever.
Huff…
Hmmm… Althought I suspect most of the people complaining about this eat meat…
Trust me, what happens in meat processing plants in the United States is equally as horrible. Both to the animals being slaughtered, and the people who work there (often poor illegal immigrants who make sub-minimum wage and are subject to some of the most lax labor laws in the country - most meat processing plants are in a handful of states which offer very little protection to workers). Animals are frequently raised in conditions you would be appalled at, rife with sickness and disease, animals too sick for the market are often left to die in their own filth, fed upon by other animals on the farms.
The justification of eating animals for food is barely any stronger than for something as ridiculous as fashion - humans can survive quite well without eating meat (In fact, I would suspect there are far more healthy vegetarians out there than meat-eaters). I’m not saying everyone should stop eating meat (although it would be nice!), but just remember that as a meat consumer you are personally contributing to the death of thousands of animals in your lifetime, and do you think the illegal immigrant making less than minimum wage is concerned about the animals dying a humane death?
@Dave:
I’m not a vegetarian Dave, but my only concern is why do they have to “peel” the animals to death rather than killing them first? My concern is not with animals being slaughtered for meat but animals being tortured to death. Deriving meat from animals for human consumption is justifiable where animals are just slaughtered, but what would you call this, where humans are using such animal cruelty for luxury use? This is my main concern.
Animals do feel pain as we do. Why these people are so cruel, why they are so so brutal, why they are so heartless ? Why they are not punished for such heinous crimes ?. They are taking off skins from live animals. These people are not realizing or understanding the extreme suffering they are causing to the innocent animals. That’s why we have a responsibility to bring them to justice and apply similar suffering on them. This is the only way we can let them know what they are doing. Those helpless animals died ungraceful deaths in the hands of couple cowards and heartless beasts. The authorities who let those heinous crimes to happen are the real criminals. It is our responsibility to create a strong barricade around those stupids so that they can not move even an inch with their sinful heart. It is possible, and we can do it. In the human history there are millions and millions of examples where the brave men and women stopped the cruel beasts, eradicated them from the face of the earth and buried them for ever deep under the ground so that they can never germinate again. These animals are helpless, voiceless, and looking at us for help. We must help them, otherwise we will be guilty of irresponsibility.
I was just thinking …
What possible reason could there be to let these animals suffer that pain? The work’s easier when the animal’s dead, that’s obvious. There is also the “disney-factor”. We have, through Disney-like movies and folklore in general, adopted an empathy for animals. Only the truly sick would take any pleasure from systematic torture of animals, like shown in this video.
These reasons, and some others, leave me with a question. What proof do we have that this is real? Don’t get me wrong, I’m not doubting the fact of animal cruelty being a constant problem, but this just seems too far-fetched. They have no logical reason to do this. Therefore, perhaps provoked by my father’s mantra “The simplest explanation is usually the correct one,” I find myself wondering if this is staged. By staged, I mean that it’s coreographed and/or “photo-shopped”. For what reason, most will ask. That I can’t answer. Extreme activists, perhaps? Or just some of those guys who love to see their videos get spread world-wide over the web? People make computer viruses with no other purpose than destroying software and data, so it isn’t really that increadible that someone would make this just to f*** with our heads.
Just a thought, really. One little part of my head is concentrating on that thought, while the rest of my brain’s going “GIVE ME THEIR ADDRESSES!”
If any of you guys have some thoughts about the same thing, please share them.
it takes a combination of a stupid person, a sadistic person and a utterly MENTALLY RETARDED person these acts of crime.Seriously I thought the place where the whole world had the 20008 olympics would be smarter!and why do Chinese authorities would ban this from China!Chinese people make me seriously sick!!!!!!!!!
i wish i had more time to respond to this terrible cruelty and to some of the previous commments about it here on this blog. but the number one thing: no, lundix, in my opinion this was not faked. this video is part of the report you can read on the Humane Society of the United states website (http://www.hsus.org/about_us/humane_society_international_hsi/cruelty_issues_around_the_world/dying_for_fur_recent_investigation_shows_cruelty_at_chinese_fur_farms.html) and has also been taken up by PETA (http://www.peta.org/feat/ChineseFurFarms/index.asp). both sites have suggestions on what you can do (besides not buying fur, obviously!!!), in my opinion the best ideas are writing to Chinese officials (HSUS) and demanding Amazon.com follow the lead of Zappos.com and not sell fur (PETA).
dave: thank you for pointing out that cruelty happens in our own backyards, too, especially in factory farms. Animals feel pain, and i think this is morally relevant. therfore we should stop cruelty wherever it occurs. i also believe everything is interconnected, and where you see cruelty towards animals, you also tend to see abuse of workers and environmental degradation (factory farms are a great example). every dollar you spend is a vote. if you buy something, you are saying “yes! i like that, do it again!” so find out where the things you buy come from, how they are made, whether anyone suffers in this process. and then vote wisely and with compassion.
peace.
I cannot get these images out of my head, this is one of the most disturbing things I have ever witnessed and if I could get my hands on the people responsible I would try to educate them about what they are doing, it that did not work I am not sure I would be able to hold my temper. How much can it possibly cost to inject a lethal dose drug that is quick and painless, how hard is it to let the animals live in the open in a little more natural setting. I wish I knew the answer to rendering this type of inhumane treatment obsolete, but I do not. I am an animal lover and a monthly contributor to the ASPCA, but sadly I must admit I own fur, HOWEVER I will never ever purchase fur again under any circumstances. My coat said humanely raised fur, origin Finland. How stupid could I have possibly been, I spend extra money for organic foods, humane certified meat products, cage free eggs, etc. and yet I was stupidly lured into believing these animals were treated well. I believe in moderation and living in balance with the environment and consuming animals is in fact a part of that, but there is a right way and a wrong way and this video is the wrong way One thing I noticed that no one mentions is the lives of the people dishing out this type of cruelty, no one of a civilized well educated place minus the clinically insane could treat another living creature like this. However, China is not very civilized and most of the population lives in great poverty (don’t let the Olympics fool you) and virtually no education, this is how they feed themselves and their family, killing and skinning animals, they have little control over their own lives and derive some since of power by being able to have this type of sick control over another living being. The first thing to be done is never purchase fur, the second thing is to never purchase products made in China as many products that you would not suspect contain cat and dog fur, plus purchasing Chinese products only further supports their country while further diminishing our own by creating a greater dependence on substandard faulty Chinese products. Bottom line, I have read articles about clothes from China such as sweaters that may contain dog and cat fur, I have no hard core proof as of yet but no thanks I will buy from other countries or my own when possible.
We can write all the letters to China we want, but let’s face it, it will not make a bit of difference there, we have to do it in our own country by asking our retailers to not carry fur, especially from China, and never buying it under any circumstances, no demand=no supply
And as helpless as many of us must feel by watching something like this we can make a difference in other animals lives by treating them well and taking care of the ones we have as a part of our lives
well it is horrible that they were not dead. but i hope they at least ate the meat.
That is the most disgusting thing i have ever seen in my life!!!!!! they could have at least killed the animal before terring it apart! im gana sighn every pattition i see to stop that.
