Starting from September 7, 2008, the well-known retailer of consumer electronics and entertainment software, Best Buy (www.bestbuy.com) will be selling the popular Apple iPhone 3G.
It means the availability of Apple iPhone 3G will be expanded to more than 970 full-size stores and 16 smaller Best Buy Mobile stores.
Best Buy announced today that it will be the first independent retailer in the U.S. to sell Apple’s iPhone 3G. Like all other iPhones sold in the United States, the phone will run only on AT&T wireless network.
This deal in fact represents an expansion of the relationship between Best Buy and Apple. The longstanding good relationship between the two companies has been the main reason that Best Buy will now be able to sell the iPhone 3G.
