It’s cool, but can’t we better end up with a laptop instead :-)

  2. Mack says:

I think it is a neat idea, but needs more ram and I agree with Rock. It would only be useful in some situations.

nice but it’s too expensive. i still prefer laptop or notebook pc instead, mobile and lesser space w/ powerful core.

My issue with it, is when you spill your coke (or mountain dew depending on your preferences) you fry your whole computer instead of just a $20 keyboard.

And..ummm…are you sure that’s 4 MB of ram? That wouldn’t even run an operating system. I think it is probably more like 4 GB of ram.

  5. Manish says:

Thanks Jodith for pointing out my typo error. I’ve immediately corrected the issue, it’s 4 GB RAM :-)

I also concur with The Rock’s opinion that why wouldn’t we be better off with laptop instead. If the price had been $600 for the system with 19′ LCD monitor, that would’ve made some sense and since that’s not the case, laptop would be more favorable.

Looks very good. In terms of power it does provide more than the ASUS Eee PC, but I do agree that we need more RAM in these days of Vista. Still it looks great and is compact and looking where our hardware is headed things look mighty good for the future.

4GB of ram is more than plenty for a workstation, Micro$oft has created an operating system that is an awful resource hog, but I bet this machine would run any distribution of Linux / BSD / Solaris, etc… like a dream.

Oh, by the way, I believe the monitor should be 19 inches not 19 feet. If it is 19 feet, sign me up!
