Yahoo! Mash has been an experimental social network by Yahoo!, competiting with rivals such as MySpace, Facebook, and Orkut.

However, due to its conflict with its own service Yahoo! 360 and lack of support and updates, Yahoo! Mash has proved to be a bit unhealthy, hence Yahoo! has officially announced that Yahoo! Mash service will be completely shut down on September 29, 2008.
