Welcome back!
How many times have you had a problem identifying whether a file that you’ve identified to be running in your computer via Windows Task Manager is a virus, a spyware, or a genuine Microsoft system file? If you are an average user and do not know much about the system files and programs that normally run, you may not even be able to identify a virus from a system file.
For eg., svchost.exe is a part of Microsoft windows operating system file, but many times even I’ve been fooled with a malware named scvhost.exe which has identical name as svchost.exe or even some another svchost.exe file running from “…windows/system/web/12345″ folder instead of “…windows/system32″!
So if you are suffering from slow PC and suspect it to be due to a virus/spyware/malware, here is what I suggest - FileInspect.Com
FileInspect is a superb free online windows process library which gives you an extensive information about all the processes that runs in your computer. Not only does the site provide mere windows process descriptions, but it also suggests tips and tricks to fix the problem.

This site is very interactive - if you also have knowledge about a windows process, you can also leave comments and share your thoughts or even ask questions if you have doubt about some suspicious program currently being run in your PC.
However, this site is still in beta mode, so it doesn’t cover up all the processes in detail, but I’m sure the developers of the site are gonna make the site more informative and useful to the users.
