Check out this cool gadget, the Aquapict LED Jellyfish Aquarium. This is a LED aquarium which really looks so real, where the jellyfish swim randomly and even change color (red, yellow, green, blue, and purple).

This cool gadget looks really beautiful and will certainly look great in your desk, office, restaurant, etc. Just relax as you watch them swim to and fro, randomly changing color.

Here is a video that demonstrates this LED jellyfish aquarium.

The Aquapict LED Jellyfish Aquarium is available for $183 from Japan Trend Shop.

When it comes to installing applications in a new PC, here are my list of 8 most essential and most recommended applications to install in a new PC:

  • Kaspersky Internet Security 2009: Kaspersky is one of the best Internet Security and Anti-virus software on the market and certainly my first choice. I’ve used so many anti-virus and internet security software such as Norton, PC-Cillin, AVG, Avast, etc., but nothing came quite as close as Kaspersky. You can purchase a 1-year key of Kaspersky for $39.95, but you can find various promotional codes provided by Kaspersky with which you can use the software for as long as 9 months for free. You can download a full-functioning trial version to test this great antivirus software.
  • Lavasoft Ad-Aware 2008 Free: I would not only recommend Lavasoft Ad-Aware 2008 Free because it is a free anti-spyware application, but also because it is one of the best Ad-Aware software that can provide full protection against various spywares and malwares, trojans, dialers, browser hackers, etc.
  • Auslogics BoostSpeed: After installation of a powerful antivirus and Internet security software and any anti-spyware, my preference would then be for an optimized PC performance. Software such as Auslogics BoostSpeed 4.2 or SpeedUpMyPC 2009 comes in very handy that cleans up registry and runtime errors, removes junk data, defrags registry, etc. for better PC performance and stability.
  • Mozilla Firefox: Now comes the part to load your PC with some most commonly used software, such as Mozilla Firefox browser. Mozilla has recently launched Firefox 3.1 Beta 2, with which you can enable Private browsing. I do like Google Chrome also, but basically due to its appearance, and still I prefer to use Mozilla Firefox over Google Chrome or IE (IE is too slow) with the Google Chrome Theme for Firefox.
  • Picasa: Picasa is my first preference for the easiest way to find, edit, and share photos. With Picasa, managing your photos, editing, and sharing photos a piece of cake! You can eliminate scratches, fix red-eye, crop and do many more editing to your photos and easily share with friends, family, and the world. Picasa is a must have, and if you’ve not been using it till now, I suggest you immediately Download Picasa Now!
  • VLC Media Player: Now comes the part of loading your PC with multimedia software, and for that, my first choice is VLC Media Player that can play most video and audio formats without bothering to download any codecs at all! I use VLC Media Player as my default playwer, and trust me, it is a thousand time better than the default Windows Media Player. You can Download VLC Media Player and know for yourself.
  • PeaZip: PeaZip is a free, open source file and archive manager that can manage more than 79 compression protocols such as zip, rar, gzip, 7zip, etc. I highly recommend Peazip as one of the most essential applications to install.
  • RadarSync: This might be something you’ve not heard about before, but RadarSync comes in my top most essential and most recommended applications to install in a new PC. The award-winning RadarSync is the only available 100% free applications and driver update checker available. Try it now! I’m sure you’ll like it.
