Mozilla has just released Firefox 3.5 a couple of days ago, the latest version of my favorite web browser. If you’re still with the 3.5 Beta version, here is a link to download Firefox 3.5.
Well, if you’ve not been using Mozilla Firefox web browser till now, I strongly suggest you start using it immediately! It is not only more faster than other browsers but also more convenient and easy to use with fantastic functions like Private Browsing Mode.
On the previous beta versions, you could not enable private browsing mode – what you could do is remove your browsing history for just a specific website or just the history of the last few hours browsing.
However, with the release of Firefox 3.5, now you can always start and stop private browsing mode. Here is how you do it.
Make sure you’ve downloaded Firefox 3.5 and not Firefox 3.5 Beta.
Click on the tools menu and click on “Start Private Browsing.” You can also use the shortcut simply by pressing Shift + Ctrl + P (Press Shift, Control, and P keys at once together).
Firefox will ask you to confirm your decision. Confirm it my clicking on “Start Private Browsing” again.
To end your private browsing session, just again click on “End Private Browsing” on the tools menu or again press Shift + Ctrl + P.
As soon as you activate Private Browsing mode in Firefox, all what you’ve browsed, cookies, and data are stored temporarily, i.e., as soon as you end the session, everything will be flushed out with no traces left behind of your browsing history!
Mozilla Firefox has always been my best browser, and I’m really glad it is a freeware! Mozilla Firefox is the most popular web browser, and if you’ve not been using it till now, I strongly suggest you start using it immediately! Mozilla is not only more faster than other browsers but also more convenient and easy to use.
Mozilla has already released its latest beta pack with a lot of new features and performance upgrades. All the bugs that the developers had faced previously have been fixed in this latest version of Mozilla Firefox Beta 3.5.
Some major upgrades incorporated in Mozilla Firefox 3.5 Beta are:
Now supports HTML 5 <video> and <audio> tags.
Improved support for CSS 2.1 and CSS 3 properties.
Noticeable performance and stability improvements.
More privacy browsing mode with addition of new minor tweaks.
Slight changes to the user interface such as the add new Tab button.
This latest version of Mozilla Firefox is certainly faster compared to the previous beta versions and if you’re the kind of guy who’s always interested to try out the latest versions, then you can download Mozilla Firefox 3.5 Beta from here.
The latest Beta 2 version of FireFox 3.1 is here now with a lot of noticeable changes such as the new Private Browsing mode, with which you can browse safely, without FireFox storing any data of where you’ve been or what you’ve been up to.
You can not only enable this new private browsing mode with FireFox 3.1 Beta 2, but you can also easily remove your browsing history for just a specific website or just the history of the last few hours browsing, which makes it, as per Mozilla, perfect for holiday shoppings!
This beta 2 version of FireFox 3.1 is available in 54 different languages. The most interesting new features that I found of this FireFox 3.1 Beta 2 are:
New private browsing mode with which you can browse online without FireFox storing any information.
New added function of the ability to remove browsing history for just a specific website or history of the last few hours browsing only, making it a perfect browser for holiday shoppings.
