Do you know about the new Voice and Video chat capabilities that Google has recently added to its popular web mail application? Well, if you’ve not heard about it, dude where were you?

The official Gmail blog has announced the addition of new features on Gmail with which now you can enjoy video and voice chat with Gmail too! All you’ll need to do is install a plugin from Gmail, and the video and voice chat will be instantly available to you!

The live stream videos for chat will be encoded with H.264, hence if your computer is a bit old, you might have some problem running the video smoothly.

With Gmail Video Chat, you can have a small panel of video or a large PIP view where you can even make the video streaming to full screen.
