The new Beta version significantly improves the performance and has a lot of bug fixes, so if you’re already with iPhone OS 3.0 Beta 3 (Build 7A259), then you should consider upgrading to this new build, 7A280.
Registered Apple Developers can download iPhone OS 3.0 Beta firmware directly from Apple. However, if you’re not a registered developer, you can use the following torrent network links to download the firmware, thanks to the hacker community!
Of note, this is an advanced level installation, so only proceed if you have a good understanding of the how to properly install a new firmware updates to your iPhone. If you have an unlocked iPhone, I suggest you not install the new firmware and wait till the iPhone Dev team releases a patch for this latest firmware.
